The National Drumsong Orchestra

The Drumsong Orchestra is a nationally known community drum and percussion performing ensemble founded and directed by Ubaka Hill.  The drummers participate in Ubaka's Drumsong Workshop Series.  The Drumsong Orchestra has recorded on 2 of Ubaka's CDs; Dance The Spiral Dance ~"The Singing In The Silence" (1997) and Beyond The Wind ~ "She's Been Waiting" (2006).  Ubaka is the only professional performing women drummer and recording artist who has included as many as 60 workshop participants on her recordings.  The Drumsong Orchestra™  is an exciting experience for all ages, skill levels, drums, voices and percussion instruments.
